Access is lifetime — once you enroll, the course is yours. You can rewatch lessons, revisit exercises and review notes at any time, even after you've completed the course.

Yes. There are no viewing limits. Watch at your own pace, pause, rewind and revisit any lesson as many times as you need. Many learners rewatch key sections several times as they apply skills at work.

It depends on the course:

• QuickBooks — a free 30-day trial is available at quickbooks.intuit.com. No purchase needed to start.
• Zoho Books — has a free plan that covers everything used in the course.
• TallyPrime — offers a free Educational mode. No licence needed for learning.
• Excel — any version of Microsoft Excel (2016 or later) works. Google Sheets can follow along for most exercises.

We'll tell you exactly what you need in the course introduction.

Yes. Several introductory modules are completely free — no payment or credit card required. Browse the Courses page and look for courses marked Free to get a feel for the teaching style before committing.

You can access all video lessons on a smartphone, tablet or laptop. For courses involving software practice (QuickBooks, Excel, Tally), a laptop is strongly recommended so you can follow along and practise side-by-side with the instructor.

Go to Courses, select a course and click Enroll Now. Complete checkout if it's a paid course. Your course will appear on your dashboard instantly.

Yes. Your account saves your progress, tracks completed lessons and unlocks certificates for eligible courses. Creating one is free and takes under a minute.

Click Forgot Password on the login page and enter your email. If the reset email doesn't arrive within 5 minutes, check your Spam/Junk folder. Still nothing? Email dndiritu@hisibaticonsulting.com.

Yes. You can enroll in multiple courses and switch between them freely. Your progress in each is tracked separately on your dashboard.

Yes. Go to your Profile / Account Settings to update your email. If you have trouble, contact dndiritu@hisibaticonsulting.com and we'll update it for you.

We support M-PESA, Visa/Mastercard, Equity, Co-op Bank and Airtel Money through secure checkout. If your preferred method isn't showing, contact support and we'll assist.

Log out, then log in again and check your dashboard. If the course still isn't there, email your payment receipt or M-PESA reference to dndiritu@hisibaticonsulting.com and we'll sort it within a few hours.

Refund eligibility depends on the course and how much content you've accessed. Contact support within 24–48 hours of purchase and we'll review your case fairly.

Some courses allow instalment arrangements. Contact us on WhatsApp or email before purchasing and we'll confirm whether an instalment plan is available for your chosen course.

Yes. A payment confirmation is sent to your registered email automatically. If you need a formal invoice — for example for employer reimbursement or tax purposes — email dndiritu@hisibaticonsulting.com with your name, course and payment reference.

Yes. On completing an eligible course, a digital Certificate of Completion is issued automatically and appears on your dashboard. You can download it as a PDF to share with employers or attach to your CV.

The certificate is issued by Hisibati Online, a training platform run by a practising ICPAK-licensed CPA and KRA Authorised Tax Agent. It is a professional training certificate — not an academic degree or KASNEB qualification — but it is a credible, verifiable record of practical skills training that many Kenyan employers in accounting and finance recognise.

Log in and go to your Dashboard → My Courses. Once a course is marked complete, a Download Certificate button will appear. Click it to save a PDF. If you don't see it, make sure all lessons are marked as completed.

First, make sure every lesson in the course is marked complete — even short intro or outro videos. If all lessons show as done and the certificate still isn't available, contact dndiritu@hisibaticonsulting.com with your name and course name and we'll generate it for you manually.

Yes. Download the PDF certificate from your dashboard and upload it under LinkedIn → Add Profile Section → Licenses & Certifications. Use "Hisibati Online" as the issuing organisation. You can also share it directly as an image post.

Yes. In addition to pre-recorded course videos, we run live practical sessions via Zoom where David walks through real scenarios, answers questions and does live demonstrations on iTax, QuickBooks and other tools. Check the Events page for upcoming sessions.

Once you register for a live session, you'll receive a Zoom link via email and WhatsApp before the session starts. Make sure you've installed the Zoom app on your device. Log in a few minutes early so you're ready when David begins.

Most live sessions are recorded and shared with registered participants afterwards. If you miss one, contact support and we'll share the recording link. We recommend attending live where possible as you can ask questions in real time.

Yes — that's one of the main benefits. Use the Zoom chat or raise-hand feature to ask questions. David addresses questions throughout the session and at the end. You can also post questions in advance via WhatsApp before the session starts.

It depends on the session. Some live classes are included with specific courses, while others are standalone events with their own registration. Check the Events page for details on each session and whether it requires separate registration.

Absolutely. Content is structured from foundational to advanced. If you're new, start with Accounting Fundamentals and Excel for Accountants before moving to CPA-specific modules.

Yes. Tell us your current CPA level (Section 1, 2 or 3) via the contact page or WhatsApp and we'll recommend a course order and study plan to suit your timeline.

Yes. Our CPA content is aligned with KASNEB requirements including Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Auditing, Tax and Business Finance.

Very much so. Many of our learners are working professionals who want to sharpen specific skills — filing returns more accurately, using QuickBooks properly or understanding IFRS reporting. The practical focus means you'll pick up immediately applicable techniques, not just exam theory.

Yes. We cover iTax navigation, filing procedures, common errors, penalty avoidance and compliance tips — practical enough for both students and working professionals.

Yes. We teach the concepts and practical application of PAYE, VAT, Withholding Tax and Turnover Tax — including how to compute, file and avoid common penalties.

Very much so. The tax content is practical and Kenya-specific, making it directly applicable to day-to-day accounting work, payroll processing and compliance reporting.

Yes. We have a dedicated Tax Disputes Resolution training module covering how to handle KRA assessments, objections, appeals and negotiation processes — skills drawn directly from David's real casework as a KRA Authorised Tax Agent.

Yes. We start from source documents, move through journals, ledgers, trial balance and final accounts. No prior accounting knowledge needed.

Yes. We cover chart of accounts setup, invoicing, expense tracking, bank reconciliation and basic reporting. Suitable for freelancers and small business owners too.

Yes. We have dedicated modules for Zoho Books, TallyPrime and cover Odoo in our accounting systems training. Each module uses live software walkthroughs so you practise on the actual platform, not just watch slides.

It depends on the size and complexity of the business. QuickBooks is the most widely used and easiest to start with. Zoho Books has a strong free plan and integrates well with other apps. TallyPrime is popular in manufacturing and retail. Our courses cover all three so you can choose what fits your context.

Practical accounting Excel including formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, financial models, reconciliation templates and clean data handling — the skills employers actually ask for.

A laptop is strongly recommended for practice exercises. You can follow along on a phone but you'll learn much faster when you practise directly in Excel.

Any version of Microsoft Excel 2016 or later works perfectly. If you don't have Excel, Google Sheets can follow along for most exercises — it's free and runs in your browser. We'll highlight any exercises where Excel-specific features are required.

Refresh the page and try Chrome (recommended). If you're on mobile, disable Data Saver mode. Check your internet connection. Still stuck? Contact support with a screenshot.

Clear your browser cache, close other apps and try on Wi-Fi instead of mobile data. If the problem continues, send a screenshot to support with your device and browser details.

Make sure you're logged in before starting a lesson. Avoid using private/incognito mode as it may block progress tracking. Log out, log in again and try once more.

Try these steps in order: (1) clear your browser cookies and cache, (2) try a different browser, (3) use the Forgot Password link to reset your credentials. If none of these work, email dndiritu@hisibaticonsulting.com with a screenshot of the error.
